Legal Level
QUICK READ ➤ The Legal Level is a podcast for pre-law and law students, offering expert insights on everything from LSAT prep to bar passage and career strategy. I created the full brand identity—including the logo, visual system, and marketing assets—to resonate with aspiring legal professionals while supporting TestMax’s broader educational mission.
Project Overview
Produced by TestMax, The Legal Level was designed to serve as both a valuable content resource and a brand expansion tool. The podcast targeted a wide audience—from those just beginning their LSAT journey to law school graduates preparing for the bar. Hosted by legal experts and featuring high-profile guests like Harvard Law Professor Ronald Sullivan, the show needed a brand identity that matched its depth and credibility.
My role encompassed the entire branding process, from concept to execution. The visual identity had to feel smart, professional, and relevant—rooted in legal symbolism but accessible to a modern student audience. The name “The Legal Level” provided a natural thematic anchor, playing on both the imagery of the legal scale and the concept of equality.
The logo design leaned into this idea, incorporating an equal sign motif in red, white, and blue to reflect both legal values and the podcast’s U.S. legal system focus. The result is a mark that feels grounded in tradition but modern enough for digital channels.
What sets this branding apart is the seamless integration of message and visual form. The identity not only captures the tone of the show but visually reinforces its purpose: elevating legal understanding and helping students succeed at every level of their legal journey.
